Oh, bother.

I was kinda hoping that they would suck the world into a black hole of quarks and whatever else when they fired up the Hadron Collider, so that I wouldn't have to go to work.

When I woke up this morning, the world was still there. So much for that.

Guess I should prolly come up with a quality post at some point, too.

I'll think about it.

Don't hold your breath.

You can still hope for world destruction when they start with 2 beams. AFAIK this time it was only one beam, e.g. no collisons. :)

"But, Teacher, the world was going to end, they said, so I didn't think I would have to do my homework."

The world DID got trown in a black hole, but we were sent in another parallel universe were stoopid people can't reproduce, so, hopefully, in 30 or so years, world will be a great place to live, and to work.

Now, don't be too sure all is well. If we are being sucked into a black hole, time slows. You may just get to work a Really looong shift, then get squished. I, however, have the night off...
