I kept this one, too. My college keeps telling me to "us best practices- all the other distance programs use them" and I keep thinking, "shouldn't we be doing more than this?"
Good lord, my work place has been throwing around the phrase 'best practices' all summer and every time I hear it I want to puke. At least they've given up on 'we're becoming the best company in the industry', cause we all figured out pretty quickly that what they meant was "we're mediocre, but we'll pretend we aren't!". I love corporate new speak...
