The great internet embargo of 2008
Those of you that visit on a regular basis will not be surprised to hear that I'm considering hanging it up for good. I'm pretty sure that the lack of quality posting has not escaped your notice.
Frankly, the effort it takes to come up with a post is becoming more than I care to exert.
So I'm putting the keyboard away for a while.
Someone else will have to entertain you for a while. I have people in real life to annoy and amuse.

Sigh...time to hit the highly recommended blogs list....
You will be missed
What a bummer for me. I find you quite enjoyable and funny... Probably because my mom is a nurse and I can totally relate. As a matter of fact, I often send her here to read your anecdotes...
You will be missed...

Gonna miss you! Have fun annoying people in real life!
oh, I know it is tough but I look forward to reading your blog daily; don't leave us.
What the @#$%!!!! (You know I don't pull out the symbols lightly...) You realize that now the migraneurs and the Fibromyalguers and the other loopy nutjobs across the blogosphere will now think that you have given up and they have won.... I hope some of your other readers will take your torch and spread it joyfully throughout the internet and show that the crazy people will not let us be dragged down into their whining, sniveling, sorry mass they call "support groups". Stand tall people, Monkeygirl will still be watching!
Sorry, I haven't had breakfast yet. I think the lack of sugar is making my brain malfunction. I wonder if there's a drug for that?
If you want, you can always guest-blog on my blog once a week or something!
Bye MonkeyGirl!
You'll be missed.... Come back to us sometime? Please?
Real life is over rated. Get it out of your system and hurry back. I miss you already!

We didn't send you enough memes and awards. :(
Everybody needs (and deserves) a vacation.
If you'd rather be on vacation for a while, rather than hanging up the spurs, go right ahead.
Nothing wrong with that.
Enjoy whatever you do! Life's too short not to!
Boo... thanks for reminding me that I shouldn't feel a sense of entitlement to your posts. Lesson learned, you can come back now.
Awww, I'll miss you!
I'll miss your posts. Hope you come back at some point!
I can't stand it! The blog neighborhood is gettin'lonely 'cause my favorite bloggers are leaving one by one...
But...I'm secretly in love with you.
F*&@!
:*(
Please don't leave....
CFS is a bitch, isn't it? :)
it's because you care.
Sorry to see you go, you have some great stuff going on here. Hope you can come back eventually.
No more heated debate on migraneurs and fibros? What is this world coming to?
Do what you gotta do.......but you WILL BE MISSED!
Oh hell...NOW who will give me something to whine about???
All the hirsutism barbs...the chronic pain remarks...
MG, I'm gonna miss you, but I hope the break is good for you and I hope it is temporary.
Take care of yourself!
What? I go to work for a few days and come back and...this?!?
Oh, MG. I'm going to miss you. You were my inspiration for starting a blog.
Have fun in real life! Drop a line occasionally!
xoxo

Take care MG, I'll miss your voice.
If you become tired of annoying real people, the anonymi will always be here at the merest hint of a vague non-ailment.
If not, thank you for making us think and laugh.
WTF??? I go to a conference and this is what happens while I'm gone?
Well, I'm not taking your link down so there! That means you have to come back eventually.
You just think you're out of ideas...bwahhaahahahahah...the blog bug is not so easily dismissed.....
(We'll be here if ya wanna come back!)
Damn. This sucks.
I, too, hope your leave is only temporary. They may not be as frequent, but your posts are always insightful and hilarious.
I refuse to take you off my reader. I'm sure you'll be back to bash the Buckeyes if nothing else. *smile*
You're too funny to quit! Do what you gotta do and then come back. :)
Eventually everyone says, "What am I doing here and why am I doing it?" You've been doing it, because you are good at it, but when you feel it's time to go....the party's over. Bye for now.
Come home. Even without PT Cruiser we have much blog fodder. "I hear the tunes! Jesus is coming!" And the Harbor is so harborific, there is no opportunity for a personal life to distract you. Go West!
