Sterilize early and often

There are many people that shouldn't be allowed to procreate.

Some of them need to have painful things done to them until they die. These ones in Detroit and these ones in Texas are at the top of my list right now. (I nominate CrankyProf to come up with the punishment. Her ideas are always so, um, colorful.)

But sometimes, the stupid ones actually fix themselves. And we can breathe a sigh of relief while simultaneously wishing that more of the ones that shouldn't be breeding, weren't breeding.

I've always been a believer in discretionary sterilization. If the OBGYN notices that the same patient who has a history of shit parenting is back again, I think they should be empowered to sterilize people at their discretion. People often give me a look like I'm some callous monster for suggesting this, but the bottom line is that there are a lot of people who have lost the right to continue spewing out children.

After all, any moron with a couple of parts to bang together can grunt out a baby, but only a very few can parent a baby.

I deal with people who shouldn't procreate all the time, this past weekend it was the 12 year old pregnant girl and her 26 year old mother and 31 year old father. I believe he was a chester when he impregnated the girls mother, a 19 and 14 year old together.

Read the poem and the post I made about them RagingServer.com-'And now a Poem'

I have a special set of tools for such creatures.

Blowtorch
Pliers
Piano wire
Rock salt
Isopropyl alcohol
A Bovie
Rusty barbed wire
A starving polar bear
5 lbs. Gravy Train
A pack of rabid teacup poodles
Perp's naughty bits

That's just a start -- it's early and I haven't had my coffee.

It is an interesting idea about this woman's choice of sterilization. She doesn't want to create another human being that will have its own carbon footprint on this planet, yet despite her efforts to reduce it, she will continue to leave a carbon footprint. If her goal is to do her part to save the planet by not creating another life is it selfish for her to continue to live? I am certainly not saying she should off herself, but her logic seems a bit fractured.

Unfortuntely Michigan doesn't have the death penalty so they'll get to spend life in jail at the taxpayer's expense.

For those two in Texas, do not pass go, do not collect $200.00, go to the front of the line - As Ron White siad " some states have stopped executions, we put in an express line"

Did anyone else feel physically ill while reading those 2 articles? My kiddo is the best thing that ever happened to me, and as infuiating as she can be (she is 2 years old, after all...), I can't fathom the depth of sickness it would require for me to cause her harm. What could a little person possibly have done to deserve being tortured to death?

Let me see if I understand. It is an heroic act to kill one's own unborn child in order to save the planet? Have I got that right? Then, may I ask a question? For whom, exactly, are you saving it?

Ah... my patient the other day was 21 g3, who just delivered her 3rd. Mom has residual brain damage from a car accident. Missed her WIC appointment, doesn't have any money for preschool, etc. All the things you think of. She declined a tubal.

So, choosing not to have children (for whatever reason) is seen as being "stupid"? I choose not to have children because I don't want them. I know, bloody shocking considering I'm a young woman in the "prime" of my reproductive stages. But I don't want kids and never have wanted them. So, am I "stupid"?

I think not.

I'd rather not be defined as a woman simply because I popped out a few babies. You'd think in this age of feminism and women's rights, it'd be seen as something positive to abstain from rearing children but it appears that the old stigmas are the same.

I concur with superstenogirl - I too decided not to have children, and my hubby got "me" a vasectomy for our first anniversary. There are too many people on this planet. It's just gotta stop. I see it as intelligent for women to chose not to have kids, rather than let society tell them "you're not a woman unless you're a mother"...bulltikky. But it's decidedly sad to see that truly stupid people - those who are not planet concious or educated enough to make intelligent decisions - go on and continue to breed. Yes, there are some SUPER wonderful people who are producing children...that cannot be denied...more power to them who've choosen to and are following through by educating and loving and really RAISING their children. But that seems to be less and less likely. Stupid people are bredding too fast. It's sad.

Damn...that's "breeding too fast." argh.

Me thinks that superstenogirl obviously missed the boat on MG's statement that "the stupid ones actually fix themselves". Deciding to have children or not has nothing to do with whether or not you are stupid. The stupidity of that woman who "fixed" herself, I think, was mostly in her reasoning. Try again.

It is sad what people do to their children, out of frustration or just plain meanness, considering how many childless couples are willing to adopt and can dedicate themselves to properly raising a child. As for not having a child to save the planet, what kind of crap is that? Don't have kids because you don't want them, that is fine, but don't make some lame excuse to justify your decision. It is not selfish to have or not have children, it is however a personal decision that does affect the rest of your life and should not be taken lightly. If you feel pressured by society to have kids that is something in your head. Not having children doesn't make you any less of woman any more than having a masectomy would.

Being that even MG has said her internal female parts are for decoration purposes only, I don't quite think she was posting this to say that females that do not want to have children are "stupid".
Personally, I don't think that women who don't want children are stupid, it's their choice. But I do believe that in this instance, that lady is a whacko (doesn't mean everyone who doesn't want children are). It's a good thing that she doesn't want children and took the steps to ensure it wouldn't happen. It's not that the fact that she is trying to be "green", but the fact that she aborted a baby as a form of birth control. And then after she says that people who have children are the cause of all that is wrong with the world, she turns around and says that yearly they take an extravagant trips. That's insane!
The 2nd couple I think are ALOT more sane then the first lady. They aren't bashing people who choose to have children, they even admit to loving their nieces, they don't take planes, they don't drive cars, etc.

It is a cruel bit of irony that the people who are smart enough to make a considered decision to not have children, are usually among the seeming minority of people who could actually get a reproduction license. Obviously there are hordes of mouth-breathing morons out there who are reproducing, who shouldn't.
