I hate teeth.

Not just Meth Mouth. I hate all things tooth related. I have anxiety attacks when I go to the dentist. If a patient comes in with a tooth that got knocked out by Sumdood, I gross out. Foot-long full thickness lac to the forearm? No biggie. Loose/missing tooth? Near syncope.

So imagine my husband's glee right now, because the 5-year-old is popping out teeth faster than a drug seeker pops out excuses for narcs. He discusses it with her in great detail, and I'm pretty sure that he's told her that any time one falls out to bring it to me.

So last night she woke me out of a dead sleep in the middle of the night (yes, I do get to sleep at night, occasionally), and handed me .... a tooth. In my hand. Touched it.

Almost screamed like a girl. Passed it on to husband. His problem to deal with. Not mine. Ew.

We all have things that get to us. I can watch ANYTHING in the E.R., but I break into a cold sweat if I ever have to have a blood test...

I guess hubby will have to be the ttoth fairy for 5 year old !

p.s. Did GirlVet delete her blog today ??? Or am I just having computer snafus' ?
(I asked Nurse K too. I think Babs is on vacation, or maybe she would know.)

Babs is loading up the car as she types this.

I didn't know. Sometimes Blogger can go on the rag or she may have actually deleted it. Dunno. Hmmm.

I was gonna say though - I'm that way with heads, especially eyes. Teeth are bad enough but anything that comes out of a head - whether it's supposed to or not - gets me. Especially when that head is not in one piece. {shudder}

Yep. Heads.

Just. EEW. I have always been a stickler for teeth, as well, and there is nothing worse to me than a mouth full of rot.
Though, Babs has a really good point about the heads. . .

Oh the joys of parenting...

So broke a tooth last night so we went to the dentist today. Since this was a new dentist I got to watch him pull it out.

Totally nasty. You are lucky I like you or I would have totally not even finished reading your post! I had to actually put my hand over my computer screen to cover up that awful picture! Compared to that, I can handle a few teeth falling out of a little kids mouth.
