I *heart* Dilbert!

If you have an iPhone, this is for you.

If you have a Blackberry, you're next.

Seriously. Who the hell could possibly be e-mailing you at 0200 in the morning that requires you to have your phone/PDA/laptop/lawnmower/toaster in your hand checking it whilst I am trying to talk to you about this very sick patient?!?!?!?!?!?

I can empathize because a cellphone going off in a hangar full of aircraft stuffed with explosive devices is... unsettling.

I'm allergic to cell phones. When one rings when or where it should not even be on (class, the middle of the doctor's visit, et cetera), I break out in rage.

I once had a doctor answer her cell phone in the middle of my pap smear. Needless to say I did not go back to her again.

So True! I swear I'm going to grab one of those PDA's and shove it up some one ass! Maybe then they will remember what I told them two seconds before, because I REALLY enjoy repeating myself for the third time all of the important shit that they just requested with an attitude, no less.

I'll have an iPhone in January, but I don't use phones that often. Especially not as an annoyance. I always make sure I'm not behind the wheel, or in another important place. Although when class gets boring it's kinda nice to have.

I'm with you on that one.

I'm in an RT program, and while I was signing off on bedside assessment (possibly one of the most important skills an RT should possess), the instructors phone rings. She just tells me to keep going while she is talking to her sister on the phone.

And then since I work night shift, there are always those people who are texting people at 0300 or some strange hour.
