Honestly, people.

OK, I need to know.

How soon before the freakin' med bloggers stop political blogging and start medical blogging again?

One week after the election? Two weeks? A month?

Jeez, guys. You're killing me.

Can't you just start another blog like Girlvet did?

It's like when you're watching a good shoot 'em up flick and all of a sudden there's lots of bad romance. WTF? Stick with the plan, Stan!

Shoot 'em up movies get a good sex scene and a couple of romantically charged "moments".

Med Blogs get one good political rant and a couple of politically charged "moments".

That's it.

Arrgh!

Amen! Thought I have my suspicions that the political blogging won't stop after the election, I mean, we still have the inauguration to look forward to then reflection on the first day/week/month/six months/year in office.

I don't think people start other blogs because no one would read them lol.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE ELECTION TO BE OVER! I'm so sick of it. Maybe in a few weeks we'll start hearing about other news as well.

Well, I could go on a rant about the pus-dribbling, c.diff-sniffing, fungus-ridden, gaping MRSA-infected decubitus ulcer of a freshman who's currently in first place for "Rancid Moldy Douche of the Semester."

Cranky: Please? Pretty please?

And Monkey: Exactly! I came to read goofy/interesting/bitchy stories about hospitals and their ilk. I don't give a flying shit who someone else is voting for, because it isn't going to change who I'm voting for.

Thanks MG!

I don't care who you vote for...I'm just here to read the funny ER, or ED stories.

That sock one is a classic, and no amount of breathing through your mouth can keep some of those rotting smells from making you gag!

When I say so.

I'm happy to say that my blog has been free of anything related to politics for the last 5 motnhs. Of course I haven't been posting either....

no worries mg, if my side wins it's back to boring old medicine stuff, if "O" wins then the decision will be made for me and i do take comfort in that thought. always wanted to be a ward of the state.

You could start a football blog, you know.

I was waiting for someone to point that out.

Figured it would be either you or 911Doc.

Smartass.

Maybe I'll start a kitty cat blog too.

That way if someone doesn't like to look at kitty cat pictures, they won't be bothered by my incessant posting of them. And if they do want to look at kitty cat pictures, they will know exactly where to go.

Yay!

Unfortunately, it is not just medbloggers. Education blogs are in on it too -- and it's not just NCLB stuff either.

I am already tired of these people and none of them have even been elected yet. I purposely do not post the political stuff on my blog, and I am very politically opinionated

After the election, there's plenty of time for kvelling until the inauguration on January 20, and then the ritual wailing during the first hundred days, and immediately thereafter is the start of Campaign 2012, Electric Boogaloo. While we civilians will be mostly to blame, I'm sure plenty of you med bloggers too. Fun around the clock, it'll be.

Yeah, that is why I try my hardest not to put political posts in my blog - I just comment on other peoples' and perpetuate the mud-slinging. :)
