ouch.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.

I hate the feeling of ribs snapping under my palms. It freakin' creeps me out.

I must admit, however, that CPR is excellent exercise. My abs, chest, arms, shoulders, and upper back are killing me.

Motrin, Guinness, the couch and basketball. Ahhhhhhhhh.

Well, think about it this way - you get exercise and hopefully you save a life, too!

Although, the rib snapping would totally creep me out too!

Usually, the ribs are not breaking.

They are connected to the sternum by cartilage and the sound you hear is similar to knuckles cracking.

At times almost every joint in my body cracks, including where the ribs connect to the sternum - without being on the receiving end of CPR, yet. :-)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds this creepy. *shiver* Cartilage or not.

Hey, if you're not doing noisy compressions, you're not doing it right! You're right, it is a bit creepy though.
