Hiccups
The step-kid and I were driving around a while ago and she had the hiccups. We had a long discussion about what causes hiccups, none of which did I actually expect her to retain, because, well, she's 5!
About a week later we were in the car again, this time with her dad, and she started hiccuping. She said, "Hey daddy, guess what? My diagram is spasming!"
Out of the mouths of babes......

Awwww... that is SO cute. My little sister is 7 and wants to do everything I do, so she wants to study medicine and likes to look through my anatomy textbooks. She asked me to explain a bunch of the diagrams, and now she gives some very cute explanations of hypovolemic shock, fibrinolysis, etc. =)
My son is 3 and knows an awful lot about the thryoid, a uterus, his urethra and other things and I am not even a doctor or nurse. I can only imagine what he would know if I were!
