The next year, a different teacher said no, that's not how it is, and I was really confused.Tiny Shrinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14584375132138526435noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8206950351545432700.post-17820526335256437532007-05-03T15:37:00.000-06:002007-05-03T15:37:00.000-06:00Actually, I was told that in elementary school--li...Actually, I was told that in elementary school--life science. "Because your blood is red from the oxygen, it's red in the air and blue in your body." Like you don't have oxygen in your blood unless it's exposed to the air! And that's all wrong anyway. Also, when dissecting the cat in Human Anatomy the veins and arteries had been pumped full of colored latex. My lab partner said, "Ooooh, look, it's really obvious when your blood is deoxygenated!" Oh. My. God. Heaven help us if she passes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8206950351545432700.post-18297779242208708342007-04-24T08:34:00.000-06:002007-04-24T08:34:00.000-06:00Yeah, I know. *sigh* My five year old pointed th...Yeah, I know. *sigh* My five year old pointed that out this weekend.
